The Hawarden Project

At Foulkes Paving, we love working with clients to create their new gardens. Here’s the story of one garden project in Hawarden.

This garden project was for a very busy professional couple who both work from home but love the outdoors. The couple came to us with an idea of what they wanted which had been two years in the making. Further to a consultation and multiple site visits Luke worked with them to finalise a design for their perfect garden.

This was a whole garden redesign. Old concrete paths, old planters and a large section of the bank had to be removed. As well as approximately 80 tonnes of earth!

For the raised patio areas we used Harewood Oak porcelain tiles. To achieve the circle effect outside the garden room we custom made curved tiles on site.

We also installed a new retaining wall to the bottom of the garden which was then clad using black slate cladding and porcelain coping stones. We built curved brickwork raised beds and installed a UV stable resin bound stone pathway in platinum.

As a Marshalls Approved Installer our Marshalls porcelain patios can be covered by a 5 year installation guarantee and 10 year product guarantee. Once the project is completed, we register it on the Marshalls website - All the information is then sent to the homeowner.

Every driveway and patio we install is of course completed to the correct British Standards giving our clients the all-important peace of mind.
