The Nercwys Project
At Foulkes Paving, we love working with clients to create their new gardens. Here’s the story of one garden project in Nercwys.
What was the project?
This project was completed for a couple who had just undergone an extensive rebuild and renovation on this absolutely stunning home in Nercwys. The couple came to us with a very basic idea of what they wanted but further to a consultation and multiple site visits Luke worked with them to create a design that worked for the family and complimented the home beautifully.
What was the result?
When stepping out of the back doors the team constructed a Millboard enhanced grain deck which wrapped around the courtyard giving both an entertaining space and hot tub area. Stepping down into the courtyard we used mint porcelain tiles which give the aesthetic of natural stone with the maintenance of a porcelain tile. We continued with the same tile around the entire property creating both disabled access ramps and steps seamlessly.
When arriving at the front entrance we installed Marshalls Scoutmoor yorkstone setts creating a small second driveway. When arriving at the second larger entrance we constructed a custom entrance including Marshalls dry stack cladding, Millboard shadow line and mint porcelain tiles.
Further work on this project included substantial drainage and lighting which helped in creating an outstanding landscaping project that ties both the old and the new parts of the building together whilst allowing full disabled access throughout.
Every driveway and patio we install is of course completed to the correct British Standards giving our clients the all-important peace of mind.
