The Old Colwyn Project
At Foulkes Paving, we love working with clients to create their new gardens. Here’s the story of one garden project in Old Colwyn.
What was the project?
This garden project was for a family that wanted a” grown up garden” now their children were older. The couple came to us with an idea of what they wanted so we worked with them to finalise a design that was perfect for their space.
This stunning contemporary garden uses a simple colour palette, modern materials and sharp angles creating an outstanding entertaining space for the couple, their family and friends.
What was the result?
For the raised patio area, stepping stones and edgings we used Overland Silver porcelain tiles from Cheshire Sandstone.
As a section of the terrace would house the hot-tub we also installed a solid concrete pad below which was then overlaid.
Meeting the clients expectations is the very minimum requirement for the teams at Foulkes Paving so in order to create continuity the pathway edgings and bullnosed steps were created on site by us.
The existing garden had a very unsightly blockwork wall which we used to create a large feature wall as the backdrop for the hot tub using Marshalls Drystack wall cladding.
Lastly we installed UV stable resin bound stone in Starlight to create pathways linking the garden together beautifully.
Every driveway and patio we install is of course completed to the correct British Standards giving our clients the all-important peace of mind.
